ABOUT US

Our Story

Greenwich Volleyball Club was founded in 2015 with a simple mission: provide athletes with high-quality coaching, strong fundamental training, and a positive environment where they can develop both as volleyball players and as people.

Since its inception, GVC has grown from a small grassroots program into one of the premier volleyball clubs in the region, serving athletes from elementary school through high school. While the club has expanded significantly over the years, our core values remain the same: putting player development first and creating an experience that is both challenging and rewarding.

At GVC, we believe that success is built on a foundation of hard work, accountability, respect, and teamwork. Our coaches are committed to teaching the game the right way, emphasizing strong fundamentals, competitive excellence, and a growth mindset. Whether an athlete is stepping onto the court for the first time or pursuing collegiate volleyball opportunities, our goal is to help every player reach their full potential.

Our culture is reflected in our motto:

Tenacity. Teamwork. Triumph.

These three words guide everything we do. We encourage our athletes to embrace challenges, support their teammates, and pursue excellence both on and off the court.

What truly makes GVC special is the community we have built. The relationships between coaches, players, and families create an environment where athletes feel supported, challenged, and inspired to grow. We take pride not only in developing skilled volleyball players, but also in helping young people become confident leaders, great teammates, and positive members of their communities.

Today, GVC continues to provide opportunities for athletes of all ages and skill levels to learn, compete, and develop a lifelong love for the game of volleyball.
